As dog walkers and pet sitters we are often asked where some places are to take your dog for a nice long walk, jog or maybe some play time with other dogs.

Horsham Dog Park

First stop is the Horsham Dog Park in Horsham Township, PA. The Horsham Dog Park is located in the back of Kohler Park at 1013 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA 19044. The park is 1.5 acres that houses two fenced areas for dogs. One area is for dogs 30 lbs and under and the second area is for all dogs. Horsham Dog Park does not charge an annual membership fee. Dog Walking Trail

Our second stop is the Powerline Trail in Horsham Township, PA. According to the parks and recreations website, dogs are permitted on the Powerline Trail. Dogs must be leashed at all times. It is requested that dogs be curbed. What does that mean? It means that you must bring along a

bag and clean up after your dog. Trash cans are placed along the trail for your use. Where is the Powerline trail? It depends on where you are in Horsham, but here is a list of where the trails run and the mileage for each. Blair Mill to Dresher Road – .73 miles * Dresher Road to Norristown Road – 1.39 miles * Norristown Road to Babylon Road – 1.25 miles *Limekiln Pike to Cedar Hill – .89 miles * Cedar Hill to Biwood Road – .23 miles Need more information?
